Hackney Event Space is a beautiful, intimate venue on the corner of East London's newest hot spot, Well Street Market. With no hire fee, this stylish & extremely versatile party venue is perfect for hosting birthday parties, drinks receptions, Christmas parties, wedding receptions, live music, DJ nights, talks, whisky tastings, wine tastings, photo shoots, film shoots and more. We provide a fully stocked bar with classic cocktails, a premium and extensive spirits range, a solid wine list and locally produced craft beers including draft ale from Beavertown Brewery and draft lager from Camden Town Brewery. Take a look at our drinks menu, all served by our friendly & knowledgeable bar staff. We have a sound system and DJ mixer which can be used free of charge, along with a list of in-house DJs we’re happy to recommend. We’re happy for you to bring your own food, whether that’s home-cooked, an outside caterer or just dialling in pizza! There’s a food prep area with work top, fridges and sink.

Hackney Event Spaceis a great film and photoshoot location. With a south facing floor to ceiling glass frontage, the room is awash with light, but an evening effect can be created by lowering our metal shutters if needed. Exposed brickwork in pastel shades, with the remains of pale blue plaster give an industrial yet warm and cosy feel. We’ve used some gorgeous reclaimed wood and industrial piping to create the tables and back bar, and a vintage pink sofa and Persian rug create warmth for a relaxed vibe. Lighting is on dimmers with vintage pendant lights from the USSR and copper pendants over the bar, creating a slightly nautical look. The whole venue is available to hire, so you can be undisturbed. We’ve provided the backdrop for TV commercials, documentaries, music videos and more. The space comes with free wifi, loading bay, on-street parking, heating, air-con, food prep area (fridges, sink and worktops) and a kettle! Please do get in touch to check availability and fees.
